About Me
- Name: Janet P. Anderson
I am native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana my work is found in both private and corporate collections. I have studied with and attended workshops with many Artists including Adelaide Brent, Larry Casso, Mary Jane Cox, Linda Moyer, Jan Kunz and Terry Madden. Watercolor is my predominant medium but also enjoy other media such as pencil, collage, charcoal, oil, and acrylic. I particularly enjoy painting flowers, birds and swamp scenes native to Louisiana and also specialize in small paintings. I accept requests for commissioned artwork.. My work has been displayed at the Rural Life Museum and at the Old State Capitol and the Shaw Center with the Hospice of Baton Rouge “Bloom n Art” Galas. Currently my work can be found at Acadian Frame and Art and Rue Cou Cou. I am a member of the Louisiana Art and Artists Guild.
